Payroll Accountant for Live Event Specials (Beverly Hills / Remote).

Job Description

Looking for an experienced, strong Payroll Accountant who is a team player with a positive attitude for live event specials.
Starts Nov 8 – December 17 (6 weeks)
Candidate must have strong knowledge in entertainment union contracts (SAG/AFTRA, DGA, WGA and IATSE)
Experience with Cast & Crew Start/Hours + onboarding, troubleshooting and processing is a plus
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Payroll including but not limited to: base pay, payroll taxes, union pension, health & welfare contributions, statutory and guild requirements for talent, staff and crew.
• Execute payroll processes (set up, I-9 verification) for shows utilizing Cast & Crew’s Start/Hours + and/or via paper timecard submissions.
• Interface with production crew to answer questions and problem solve payroll issues in a timely and constructive manner
• Filing payroll
• Uploading invoices and payroll in PSL +
• Support Production Accountant as needed
Must be in Local 871
The ability to deal with high volumes of work under pressure
Experience in the Film/TV industry
