Fox 21 Television Studios is presently looking for a Finance Sr. Manager in our group. This position is located in Los Angeles. Fox 21 Television Studios is a dynamic television production unit. As a key member of the Finance Department, this position will perform finance/accounting duties in a fun and energetic team environment. Our group has recently merged with Fox21, thus we are an emerging business with a growth opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast deliverables. Will work with Executive Director to ensure critical deadlines are met and management reporting submissions are accurately prepared.
• Maintain and manage Ultimates (on a monthly basis), which entails collaborating with Production Accounting, Financial Reporting, and A/R billing group to ensure accurate ultimates are reported.
• Maintain and Manage Business Development. Perform analysis of development compared to budget and prepare related management reporting and accounting.
• Responsible for SOX 404 compliance and act as liason with New York Corporate office (21CF). Will be primary point of contact for SOX 404 compliance and manage business partner submissions (Production Accounting, Financial Reporting, A/R billing, F21TVS Network Finance Group etc.).
• Prepare certain quarterly financial reporting requirements related to the quarterly footnote packages submitted to 21CF.
• Perform JE’s as necessary.
• Responsible for managing WGA audits.
• Manage Direct Report (Payroll and Development Manager).
• Develop and maintain good relationships with external Partners (Business Affairs, Production Finance, Residuals and Financial Reporting and Accounting).
• Complete ad hoc projects as necessary.

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs.
• Aptitude using various systems including Peoplesoft, Hyperion or similar enterprise level software.
• Professional presentation, communication (both oral and written), analytical, organizational, and relationship building skills.
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong follow-through on all projects; ability to bring projects to timely completion.
• Ability to operate in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA, preferred.
• Big 4 or public accounting background, preferred.
